You know the hackneyed expression “you should have been here yesterday”……………well you should have been here yesterday! The cloud base went up to 6,000′ with 6 kt thermals. Even the main ridge was gently working. Several people did their first cross countries of the year. We had a lot of trouble to get our chairman to come down at 5:30 because it was still thermic.
